UKHarvest are feeling super lucky to have collected six pallets of brand new unsold books from Penguin Random House in time for Christmas. The boxes of mixed titles including children’s books for all ages, adult fiction and non-fiction all of which will make fabulous presents when distributed with our Family Christmas boxes this December.
Like everything we do, we loathe waste, so to be able to deliver new books alongside our much needed food as a festive treat for those families who have been really impacted this year, is wonderful. Massive thanks to Penguin Random House for contacting us and to our volunteer drivers who went and collected the pallet loads from Essex.
