What would you like to see to make food better locally? Have your say!
Food prices going up. Shortages. Food miles. Intensive farming. Food bank numbers. Free school meals and holiday hunger. Food is in the news a lot lately. What can we do to make things better?
The Arun & Chichester Food Partnership is running a survey asking all people who live in Arun & Chichester Districts what they want and value regarding food in their communities. This is your chance to say what is important to you. Whether your preferences are for more choice, more allotments, community food options, less food waste, lower cost options, less food miles, organic food, cookery classes or something else, or you are happy with things the way they are, the Partnership would like to hear your thoughts.
Arun & Chichester Food Partnership is a network of local government, charities, community and voluntary organizations. The Partnership has a mission to make good food accessible to all throughout Arun & Chichester. The ACFP will use this survey information to help develop local projects and access funding to try to improve the food system locally in partnership with businesses, charities, community groups and local government.
Pam Bushby, co-chair of the Food Partnership, says: “Everyone should have the access to healthy, affordable and enough food, and good food can help build a better local community and environment. Please help us to find out what people want and need locally.”
Please complete the survey online here! or if you are having diffculties please call 07483 172353 and they will call you back to complete it.
