On a mission to end food waste, with your support
It's difficult to some up in one sentance the operations that take place at UKHarvest. Many people know us for our Community Food Hubs around West Sussex, which reach thousands of households a month, but the reality is, UKHarvest cover a wide range of impactful operations.
From the Donnington Hub we:
- Operate multiple vans to transport the food to hubs and charities
- Manage an entire warehouse along with a team of staff and volunteers to store and distribute food to those who need it most
- Run multiple education programmes for young people and adults
- Create new pathways to work
- Provide access to many of West Sussex’s support services.
Not to mention Nourish Hub, the community kitchen in Shepherd's Bush, offing daily lunches, weekly breakfasts and monthly dinners as well as Nourish Hub's incredible successful education programme for both adults and young people.

Through your generous monthly donation to UKHarvest, your money will:
- Allow surplus food to reach the households and plates of vulnerable people
- Prevent perfectly edible food from going to waste in a society where many are not able to feed their families
- Increase accessibility to fresh, healthy and nutritious foods to those that struggle to afford it
- Educate young people on the importance of reducing and ultimately ending food waste in the UK for good.
- Help people find rewarding and fulfilling work.
In return we will ensure that you are kept up to date with how your donation is being used effectively and efficiently throughout the organisation and will make sure that food is no longer wasted but used as a medium to bring communities together, and feed those that need it most.
