Partnering with UKHarvest at The Nourish Hub

Days before our shiny new community kitchen at The Nourish Hub opened its doors to the community, we were lucky enough to get some valued help and support from two of UKHarvest’s Partners.

Berczy, an innovative hard seltzer brand, and Pollen+Grace who create vegan ready meal boxes joined us to understand the work UKHarvest are doing at the Hub. Both their teams got stuck into some much needed menu testing and behind the scenes food prep using the fresh produce delivered from our UKHarvest warehouse in Chichester.

We had so much fun engaging with these brands about the rescued food we collect and illustrating the quality and variety of nutritious fruit and vegetables we rescue from across the supply chain. We also demonstrated how these fresh ingredients are now able to be re-purposed into nourishing lunchtime meals served daily at The Nourish Hub.

We love working with visionary brands to share our ideas on sustainability, ways to support those in the community to eat well for less and ensure that awareness of the work that UKHarvest does, is spread widely across their largely London customer base.

We are keen to invite anyone in the area to enjoy a nutritious lunch with our 'donate as you dine' lunch model and for our partners to use the space for meetings and events. Our programme of education classes will continue to grow and we would love to reach out to other corporate partners in the Shepherds Bush area to support this new local initiative which provides such an environmentally friendly way to enjoy good food.
