At UKHarvest, we’re on a mission to prevent food waste and food insecurity - and you can be part of the solution. Our corporate volunteering day is the perfect opportunity for socially and environmentally conscious businesses to combine team-building with real, tangible impact.
What to Expect
Your day is carefully designed to be both rewarding and inspiring. With your team of up to 10 volunteers, you’ll start with a warm welcome at our Donnington headquarters, including refreshments, before a guided tour of our warehouse to see how we rescue surplus food. This is when the team-building activities really begin as you’ll head into our training kitchen and roll up your sleeves to prepare tasty meals for the community – don’t worry if you’re not a seasoned chef as all skill levels are catered for! You’ll enjoy lunch together before the afternoon continues with a visit to our Community Food Hubs to give out the food you’ve just made. By the end of the day, you’ll leave inspired, knowing you’ve helped fight food waste and supported those in need.
